The function of the PTFE Tube is to reduce drag and guide the filament. The inner diameter of the tube is 2.5 mm and the outer diameter is 4 mm.
Please note that PTFE tubing is consumable and at risk of abrasion as it can rub against the filament over time. We recommend that you check the PTFE tubing for wear during machine maintenance.

If pipes are worn and not replaced in a timely manner, this can lead to supply failures and filament build-up in the AMS, etc.
